South Sound Roller Derby (SSRD) is a group of dedicated, female-identifying, non-binary, gender expansive, transgender, and inter-sex athletes and individuals who have formed a grassroots, democratic, skater-owned and skater-operated flat track roller derby league in Lacey, Washington. We are a recreational league focusing on interleague bouting and skill development. League members empower and inspire each other as highly skilled athletes and dependable individuals in our community. SSRD always welcomes newcomers and aspires to build one of the strongest recreational derby leagues where everyone is welcome to play.
